Update June 2018 – Beaver Colony Waiting Lists

We are extremely over-subscribed for both Abbey and Bourne Beaver colonies and we have had to close our waiting lists for children aged 5 and 6, including our reserve place lists.

If your child is in current school years Y1 and Y2, we are very sorry, we will not be able to offer a place at Beavers in Chertsey.

Want to join Beavers?
Beavers are girls and boys aged 6 to 8 years old who form a Colony. There are two Beaver colonies at 1st Chertsey that meet at the Scout HQ. The Abbey colony meet every Monday, and the Bourne Colony meet every Thursday. To join our Beavers waiting list please complete the Register of Interest web form.

Want to join Cubs?
Cubs are girls and boys aged 8 to 10½ years old who form a Pack. The Hunters meet every Tuesday and the Dons, every Wednesday. To join our Cubs waiting list please complete the Register of Interest web form.

Want to join Scouts?
Scouts are girls and boys aged 10½ to 14 years old who form a Troop. There is a single Scout troop at 1st Chertsey, that meet every Thursday. To join our Scouts waiting list please complete the Register of Interest web form.

Take a look at our Adult Helpers page to see what roles are available at the moment, or contact our Group Scout Leader. Roles range from committee members to parent helpers and uniformed leaders, it doesn’t matter how much you do, every little helps!

My child is too young to join at the moment. What can I do?
If your child is not yet old enough to join, you can sign up to the Register of Interest to let us know.
